OSHA National Emphasis Program (NEP)

The new OSHA – NEP mandate effective June 7, 2007, has posed considerable problems for many of those facilities, particularly those with limited resources and available monies. Sentinel Integrity Solutions assists our clients with pre-NEP audits to identify gaps that may exist within a facility’s process safety management (PSM) program. We have saved our refinery clients thousands of dollars in fines with these pre-NEP audits. OSHA has issued approximately 500 citations so far and is going to be focused on the Chemical Industry beginning in 2009.
