Commitment is a major benefit of being a true safety-oriented service provider. Sentinel’s management and staff are genuinely concerned about the safety and well-being of our personnel and the safety of personnel working along side our employees from other companies.  And that gives us one of the best safety records in our industry.

Procedures

Safety is a formal part of the corporate quality program within Sentinel, which includes a detailed safety manual and incentive program. It includes directions on bid scope documents, hazardous materials, worker safety, and project site security, among other topics.
Additionally, project staff receive information on individual responsibilities, and details on accident prevention, employee attire and behavior, work procedures, and setting up and maintaining safe site conditions. Personnel practice emergency procedures and conduct daily “tail-gate” safety meetings; designated staff members are trained in first aid and certified in CPR.

Project Leadership

Sentinel Integrity Solutions Inc’s long established safety program, under the leadership of our full-time Director of Safety, Houston Bright, stresses the training and participation of all project participants, and the establishment of safety systems from the earliest planning stages of each project. At Sentinel, Houston directs policies and practices to both eliminate injuries and occupational illnesses, therefore resulting in increased project productivity.

Expertise

Knowing and understanding OSHA and MIOSHA regulations is a priority. Still, site specific requirements can be far more stringent. As part of our procedures we meet with a facility safety representative each at project inception and as project variables change to ascertain the specific requirements for each project.
